2025 Texas PTA Reflections student honors

The National PTA Reflections competition provided a wonderful opportunity for our students to reflect, create, and grow as they developed the Core Characteristics of a T-2-4 Ready Graduate — being a critical thinker, effective communicator, compassionate citizen, and life-long learner. Congratulations to all of our participants for their creativity, hard work, and dedication!

Nearly 60,000 students participate in Reflections each year, and fewer than 3% of entries advance to the Texas PTA level. We are proud to announce that several SBISD students have earned top honors!

Since 1969, the Reflections program has encouraged students of all ages and abilities—from pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade—to explore and be involved in the arts. Students submit original works in categories such as dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts, all inspired by an annual theme.

This year’s theme, "Accepting Imperfection," celebrated the idea that imperfection is part of what makes us perfect — a creative play on the words "I'm perfection." Students were challenged to reflect deeply on this concept and express their unique interpretations through the arts.

Congratulations to these outstanding students:
